Aldrich Mansion Wedding | Al + Lauren

Congratulations to Al and Lauren on their recent marriage! I first had the pleasure of meeting Al and Lauren about a year and a half ago. Al called me up to help him plan his surprise proposal to Lauren in Newport, Rhode Island. In fact, they were my first ever proposal clients! So it was an extra special invitation to be the photographer for their Aldrich Mansion wedding in Warwick, RI.

Aldrich Mansion is a beautiful seventy room Chateau built at the turn of the last century. With vaulted ceilings and marble details, the mansion is a luxurious space for a wedding. Taking cues from the mansion’s opulence, Lauren planned out her details carefully. She used a classic ivory, gold and blush color scheme. The result was both timeless and stunning!

Al and Lauren were married in a Catholic ceremony at the chapel surrounded by family, friends and coworkers. In the reception that followed, it was clear how much Al and Lauren are loved by their family! The speeches made by their family at the reception had everyone laughing, and there were even a few tears. One of my favorite parts of the evening was watching Lauren enjoy a dance with not one, but all of her uncles and her new father-in-law! It was a special celebration of family and love.
