King Hill Cottage Wedding | Peter & Amy
One thing I love about being a wedding portrait photographer is being a part of a friend’s special day. Capturing the first moments of a couple’s new life together is always an honor. But, when it’s a friend, the honor is greater. Amy and Peter’s intimate and rustic fall wedding at King Hill Cottage was no exception.
Amy and Peter pledged their lives and hearts to each other and God in the mountains of upstate New York. They were surrounded by their family and close friends. Their small, outdoor wedding ceremony took place at King Hill Cottage in Greenville, New York. The ceremony was beautiful against a backdrop of fall color in the late afternoon. Afterwards, a lively reception followed at Boyd Thacher State Park. Dancing and fun lasted into the evening until the stars came out.
Many things impressed me about Amy and Peter’s wedding ceremony and reception. Second only to their love for each other was the love of Amy and Peter’s friends, family, and church towards the couple. From hand-decorated outdoor wedding space to the most impressive display of food I have ever seen, the love of their friends, family, and church was evident in the quality of the details. It gave their wedding day a beautiful, heartfelt touch that made a special day even more so.
