Lighthouse Proposal in Newport - Bethany Gaston Photo

Summer is one of my favorite times of the year to be a proposal photographer in Newport! It’s a beautiful time of the year and it is such a privilege to meet SO many lovely folks coming to Newport to propose to their girlfriends. I love being able to capture each couples’ fresh joy and create some beautiful portraits and memories. Patrick’s romantic lighthouse proposal to Allison was a beautiful celebration of their love.

Patrick planned a lighthouse proposal to Allison at the Goat Island Lighthouse on the property of the Newport Harbor Island Resort. Despite not being able to make the golden hour before sunset, we had some diffuse clouds and shade that provided some lovely light for Patrick’s proposal. When Patrick asked Allison, she was so surprised and excited. It was a definite yes!
