Loved having the opportunity to meet the Gomes family and their newest member this month! The Gomes family wanted a light and airy look to the photos we took at their Rhode Island in home newborn session and they totally nailed it. Want to have light and airy newborn photos? Pairing soft neutrals with textured white linens is a great way to achieve this look. If you wear dark colors or choose dark linens, your photos will appear much “heavier.” Another way to influence the outcome of your portraits is to choose the location wisely. Choosing a room with great natural light is a great way to soften and brighten your newborn portraits and contribute to a light and airy look.
