Castle Hill Lighthouse Newport Proposal | Jake + Tori

Several weeks before his proposal at Castle Hill Lighthouse Newport, Jake called me looking for a proposal photographer. Both Jake and Tori feel strongly about making memories and having photographs of the most important moments in their lives. And this was a certainly going to be a big occasion!

When I asked Jake what he loved most about Tori, he had a lot of things to say! Her big beautiful blue eyes, her smile, and her bubbly personality were at the top of his list. He also described her as very sweet and caring, with a great sense of humor.

With their love for the ocean and exploring new places, Jake knew that the Castle Hill Lighthouse in Newport was the perfect place for his proposal to Tori. The two met back at the peak of the pandemic in 2020, and with their love of family and mutual experience in the medical field, something clicked!

With their mutual love of family, it was no surprise that both of their families were involved in the proposal! Actually, they were hiding in the bushes, ready to congratulate the happy couple after the proposal. To add to the sweet surprise, they brought a customized bottle of champagne with the couple’s name on it and of course plenty of hugs and love!
