Castle Hill Proposal | Jason + Kaitlyn

After several years of dating, Jason knew that Kaitlyn was the one. And he knew that he wanted to plan something memorable for the day that he asked her to be his wife! After ruling out a more tropical vacation (too warm!), the couple settled on Newport as their vacation destination. And Jason got to work planning the proposal! After considering a few different proposal locations in Newport, Jason settled on a Castle Hill proposal that would take place at the lighthouse.

In the week leading up the proposal, the weather was looking a bit iffy. So we some various considered back up plans in case the weather decided not to cooperate. But a few days before the decided date, the forecast looked promising and we were on for the proposal as scheduled!

After a dinner up at the the Inn at Castle Hill, Jason and Kaitlyn walked down to the lighthouse. Dinner had come a little late so we were a little worried we’d miss the sunset. But we didn’t and timing was perfect. After a few short words, Jason took a knee in front of the Castle Hill Lighthouse and Kaitlyn said yes! She was so surprised! And she loved the ring that he picked out. After a sunset portrait session, the couple headed off to celebrate and enjoy the rest of their trip to Newport.
