Fall Family Photos in Rhode Island | Kaiser Family

Taking fall family photos for the Kaiser Family was so much fun! It was rather late in the season for finding fall color, but we managed to catch the last of it at Prescott Farm. Prescott Farm in Middletown, RI is one of my favorite locations for family photos. It’s beautiful because it’s a historic farm, but it’s also fun for kids! Families and kids love it has a duck pond, little bridges, and walking trails.

When we had set our date, the weather looked promising. Sunny in the mid-forties was what the weather app informed us. Not terribly warm, but nice for fall family photos. Unfortunately, when Saturday arrived, it was about 36 degrees and windy! But we were determined to catch that last bit of fall color and make some sweet memories.

And I’m glad we did! The maple tree on the top of the hill at Prescott Farm had held onto its leaves, which were now a bright, red-orange. They made the perfect backdrop for some frigid, but fun-filled, fall family portraits.

What I loved most about this fall family portrait session wasn’t the bright leaves, however. It was the love the Kaiser family had for one another. You could see it in the way they talked and interacted with each other. It really had a way of warming up an otherwise cold day!
