Magical Fall Proposal in Newport | Tim + Janae

Oftentimes my clients like to propose in summer, but this fall proposal in Newport was simply magical! It might have been the daisies, but I think it was more of the special connection Tim and Janae had with each other.

Tim and Janae “met the old fashioned way” on Bumble. Something clicked on their first date and they both knew this relationship was something special. In fact, they went out for drinks, but ended up talking so long they missed their dinner reservation! They rescheduled their dinner, but were enjoying each other so much that they stayed out late hopping from place to place just to spend a little more time together.

When I asked Tim what he loved most about Janae, he said that he loved “her smile, confidence, and her selflessness” and how “she goes above and beyond for me, her family and friends, and her kids at school.” When I met Janae at the proposal, I could immediately see what a delight she was to be around and why Tim enjoyed her company so much!

Tim planned for his proposal to take place in Newport at the Castle Hill Inn Lighthouse. We almost had to switch the day and place due to weather, but some sunshine came through at the last minute and our original plans worked out. When Tim took a knee by the lighthouse, Janae was completely surprised! She had no idea he was going to propose that weekend, but when he did her response was an enthusiastic “Yes! Yes! Yes!” It was so much fun to see and share in their joy.
