Castelli Family | Family Portraits in Portsmouth RI
It was a pleasure to meet the Castelli family this past week! All of the family was together for Christmas for the first time since 2011, and Christina told me it was a “big opportunity for us to get official mementos of this rare time of togetherness.” With one of the four sisters moving overseas next year, the likelihood of the whole family being together any time soon was pretty slim. So it was the perfect time for family portraits in Portsmouth, RI!
But when portrait day arrived, it sure was cold. A day after Christmas, it was in the twenties and there we were snapping pictures in the yard! I wonder what the neighbors thought! The beautiful sunset light was worth it though and I think all of the fake Santa Claus laughs we did warmed us up a bit. Just a bit though. Eventually we moved inside and took some Christmas family portraits by the piano and the giant Christmas tree. It made for a very festive backdrop, and I think it was perfect considering this was their first Christmas together in over ten years!
