Five Bridge Inn Wedding | Wilfred + Destiny

After falling in love at while working at Lowe’s, Wilfred and Destiny pledged their hearts to each other before God and their friends and family in a rustic barn ceremony at the Five Bridge Inn wedding venue in Rehoboth, MA.

Though they had planned for a traditional wedding ceremony with no first look, the gloomy forecast prompted a last minute change of plans. After getting ready in separate suites, the couple enjoyed seeing each other for the first time under the awning at the Inn. In addition to the rain coming down, there were tears too. And lots of joyful smiles and cheering from the family and the bridal party who were watching from nearby!

Afterwards, the couple headed over to the barn to say their vows. Their pastor encouraged them to build their marriage on a firm foundation: the words of Jesus. This, he told them, would allow them to weather any storm that life might throw their way. An appropriate reminder as it poured buckets of rain outside! He also reminded them to practice love and respect – keys for a healthy marriage. Then they exchanged rings and said “I do!” with their loved ones cheering them on. I couldn’t help but smile as I watched them say yes to their future together!

In the reception that followed, with speeches and dances, it was clear how much Wilfred and Destiny were loved by their friends and family. I could tell you about it, but I think the pictures will speak for themselves!

If you stick to the words of Jesus and practice love and respect, you’re going to have an awesome, unshakeable marriage.
