Newport, Rhode Island Proposal | Matt + Irene
One thing I love about being a proposal photographer is getting to know my clients and hear their love stories! So when we were in the planning stages of his Newport, Rhode Island proposal, I asked how he and Irene met and how he knew she was the one. He shared that they had met at work, and after their first trip to Newport in November of 2019 he “truly knew that nobody else would ever make [him] that happy.”
I also asked Matt what he loved most about Irene. He had a long list of things to share! He related “she is caring, she is very smart, loving, and she always puts a smile on my face. She’s always looking out for others, has a good sense of humor, and always cares for everyone in her life.” Irene sounded like a lovely lady and I looked forward to meeting her!
Matt planned his proposal at the Castle Hill Lighthouse followed by dinner at the Inn. The weather was perfect and the proposal went smoothly (despite a slight last minute location change) and Irene said yes! In the portrait session that followed, there were lots of laughs and happy moments as Matt and Irene enjoyed a new season in their relationship: engagement!
