Rhode Island Senior Pictures | Matthew

This past weekend I had the privilege of taking Matthew’s Rhode Island senior pictures. Matthew is member of the church my family attends, so I’ve known his family for a number of years. When his mom contacted me and asked me to be his senior portrait photographer, I was so excited. I always love taking photos for friends and family, because it feels more like we’re hanging out than having a portrait session!

Matthew is currently a student at Coventry High School in Rhode Island. He is working hard to finish up his senior year on a positive note, after the challenges of this past year and a half of COVID. After he graduates, he is planning to pursue some musical notes and attend college as a music major. Matt has a passion for singing and plans to chase his dreams of becoming a singer and a songwriter!

Matt chose Glen Farm Stables in Portsmouth as the backdrop for his Rhode Island senior pictures. It was a perfect match for his senior picture outfit choice (a flannel) and his easy-going, laid-back personality. After we arrived, Matt spotted a couple green dumpsters. He joked that he wanted a picture in front of them. So after taking some senior pictures fit for the yearbook, we did!

Matt, it was such a joy to take your senior pictures for you. With your kind heart and pleasant personality, I’m sure you will make a difference in the lives of those you meet after high school.
