Wedding Near Crowne Plaza in Warwick, RI
There’s a new Mr. and Mrs. in town! Congratulations to Josh and Amanda who were married at Living Faith Christian Church, near the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, RI!
Getting Ready
Before the ceremony, Amanda and her bridesmaids got ready together in the basement of Living Faith Christian Church. I loved watching them laugh, have fun together and help Amanda get ready for her special day! You could really feel the love that her friends had for her.
While the girls were busily getting ready, the guys were busy … hanging out. They were having a good time, totally relaxed, not a suit in sight. So I took their detail shots and told them to call me when they were ready!
After the girls were ready, we snuck Amanda out the door for a first look with her father and grandfather. Amanda looked gorgeous and it was so precious seeing the look on their faces!
Then it was time for the ceremony.
The Wedding Ceremony
Josh and Amanda celebrated their wedding at 2 pm on September 18, 2021. The event took place at Living Faith Christian Church near the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, RI. It was a joy-filled wedding and the couple said their vows, surrounded by family and friends. The pastor encouraged them to love through the difficult times and to rely on God to keep their marriage strong. At the end of their ceremony, they shared the Lord’s supper and their first kiss as husband and wife!
Then, we stole away for portraits with the family, bridal party, and of course, the new Mr and Mrs! The backyard of the church provided a stunning backdrop for their portraits. They ended their portrait session by carving their initials into a large beech tree – a church tradition for couples who marry at the church.
During meal time, the best man and maid of honor each shared a beautiful, funny, and heartfelt speech. I was really touched by how much they loved their friends and how happy they were for them (and maybe a little jealous that they would now have to share their bestie!).
Afterwards, the bridal party danced their way into the reception and Amanda and Josh shared a first dance together. Next came the father-daughter and mother-son dances. I think I almost cried during both of those, especially when “My Little Girl” came on. I’m almost tearing up just thinking of it!

Amanda and Josh, I’m sitting here smiling right. I’m smiling because I’m thinking about how much joy you both had through your engagement and on your wedding day. I pray that your joy would continue and that your marriage would be strong – a blessing to you, and to those around you. There will be hard days, and seasons, of course but remember – you’re in this together. So always fight for each other and not against each other.
