Family Portraits on the Beach | Dagesse Family

After hoping for it all summer, the Dagesse family’s portrait wishes finally came true. The whole family, from grandparents to grandkids, was in town so we scheduled an extended family portraits on the beach! The Dagesse’s arrived in style, rocking classic beach portrait outfits: white tops with denim. Can’t go wrong there! Even though fall had officially started a couple days earlier, it still felt like summer.

I knew we were going to have fun because the family showed up with drinks and music. Why not turn your beach family portraits into a hang out time? Totally a great idea. With two families and three littles, we moved through the photos quickly, stopping occasionally to capture the small runaways. But who could blame them for wanting to escape? The beach is such a fun place for kids! Throughout our session, the grandkids, three and under, enjoyed feeling the sand on their toes (and sometimes in their mouths!) Then, they ended the portraits with a splash (and a change of clothes!)
